I bought this Kalimba for an Operation Christmas Child present. I was amazed by the beautiful piece and lovely sound. I have one of the palm sized thumb pianos (not from this company) and the sound is very tinny, though charming. I was expecting the same sound quality, but this actual piece had the most delicately beautiful sound. Playing it made me feel like I was in my favorite movie, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and made me think on lovely (and some lonely) thoughts. I was reluctant to part with it and am considering obtaining one for myself.It comes with a bag, an instruction booklet with some music and a tuning kit. Nice job, guys!

Purchased for a 12 year old who loves it. Sound is lovely. Buying more so family members can play together. Great price.

Sounds and looks great

Gorgeous instrument, well packaged, nice extras. I love laying in bed in darkness playing random notes bc everything sounds beautiful. My only complaint is lack of instruction or music available for anything over 17 notes. I have physical limitations & will prolly fig it out over time w/ research but the included 15/17 note music book doesn't match up with my instrument. That's v sad bc I had hoped to play a song in the book to hubs for Christmas but can't figure it out in time.If I were to recommend, I'd have to suggest getting the 15 or 17 note version just bc it matches up w/ included sheet music & other avail books.

I Have a Kalimba of my own, and a friend liked it so much they started looking around and loved this ones design online. I thought Id surprise them by getting it as a gift. When It came in I opened it to make sure everything was tuned and ready to go (which it was) but not only was I pleasantly surprised with the build quality, but also how it sounds. Extremely satisfied and I know they will be too

The media could not be loaded. I come from a background of organ, piano, and keyboard. I purchased this kalimba on a whim. It arrived in promptly and in great condition. It was in tune out of the box and sounds nice. I have only had it less than a week so I cannot comment on durability. I can play simple songs and harmonies but am still learning the instrument. The instruction book is not all that good. There are much better resources on the web for this.Update 2021/06/20: I’ve had the kalimba about 9 months. It is holding up well. I have included a video of my playing the hymn “Faith of Our Fathers.”
