Needed to extend a usb cable and connect a webcam over 20 meters, this did the trickThe camera is usb 3.1, it's the Huddly GO camera, very high quality.The quality of the image is visibly lower when connected with this device, but it's good anyway, sure good enough for any normal webcam needs

Does the job.
On 20m of cat5 cable it is perfect. The male-male USB2 type A cable is a bit odd, surely the pc end should have a USB2 type B socket to meet USB standards. However it works OK so no worries.

Does what it needs to do.
Got this to feed mouse/keyboard and a webcam feed over ethernet. Worked well. My only gripe is that the sender end has a 12v adapter plug, despite not needing it at all. It is the receiver end that needs to get the power. I have a feeling that without the manual, someone could have potentially ruined their hardware.
