Simple, looks great, affordable, and does the job
I bought 2 of these straps for my guitar and my bass. Now granted that I won't be gigging with these since I'm not a guitar player or a bassist, these servers their purpose as a way to hold my guitars while I play. I'm a professional drummer that's building a simple home recording studio for my songs. Though some goat layers may say you need locks for added security, if your use is simple like mine (which is just to strap the guitar without jumping or running around stage), this is a great and affordable way of doing it! I also like the basic design of the pattern, not to simple and not at all flashy. It complements the classic wood finish of my guitars. I've seen the brand Ernie Ball from other guitar players so I figured it's a good brand so I bought them without breaking the bank.Highly recommended for someone on a budget that won't be rocking too hard on stage. Nothing special, just gets the job of strapping your guitar.

Quality, comfortable strap
First off, this is a great looking strap. I buy my straps to match my guitar finishes and this one looks awesome with my white Danelectro with black knobs. It's not stiff like some other straps and feels comfortable and worn in immediately. The strap button holes are nice and tight so i don't fear them coming loose on accident. However i do recommend using some sort of strap locking device on all of your guitar straps. I just use the cheap rubber ring locks that are super cheap. Almost forgot..... this strap is super long enough for using with acoustics with no upper strap button, but easily shortened for electrics.

Great look and sturdiness for the price!
I am super picky about my guitar straps. I have several, including some very nice leather ones. I wanted a few others with decorative, vintage-y patterns. And so I tried this Royal Orleans pattern by Ernie Ball, one of the most highly respected names in music. It’s priced right and adds a nice flair to my Martin guitar. It’s lightweight and adjustable and doesn’t slip, and it has a plastic buckle that won’t ding my guitar like those straps with metal ones. These come in lots of different styles depending on what you like. Highly recommended.

Excellent Quality & Value
Ever since I first saw Neil Young wear this I've always wanted one. And if you see him strap on that Gibson Les Paul, you'll see this strap. I started playing guitar back in the 70's because of Uncle Neil. I own allot of guitars and straps. Most are Logo straps. Even the one I took of this Les Paul was. But I've wanted this strap for a long time. I chose the Ernie Ball version because of the coloring, black and gold, and the price. 10 bucks cheaper than the White and black. But this is a high quality strap, like all Ernie Ball products. Of which I own quite a few products, other than straps. But if you order one, rest assured you're getting a quality product. I love this one. Peace & Love..

Perfect look but very raw edges
I completely love the look of this strap. The only downside is the raw, sawtooth feel of the edge of the backing of this strap that digs into my shirt or worse, my neck. I hope it softens up over time. It's beautiful though, but functionally could be a bit better and they could have used better materials, like a "seat belt" style backing that is much more skin friendly.

the 'standard'
i love Ernie Ball straps (have 3 already); you see 'em everywhere & on everyone from guitar "gods" to youngsters just starting out - they're kind of the 'standard' IMHO. though not the most comfy strap for extended play sessions (depending on your guitar's weight of course) they'll definitely "do". for the price, they're practically nonpareil in terms of value, choice of styles, prints, colors, &c. bottom line, you'll never go 'wrong' w/ Ernie Ball... 'cuz "Balls Are Best" (their strings ain't too shabby either). these straps hold up quite well (one of mine is 15 yrs. old & still looks & works like brand new). i recommend Ernie Ball guitar straps enthusiastically!

Not for your Lester
First let me say the purple paisley version I purchased is absolutely GORGEOUS. But looks aren't everything. It's on the thin side and was not comfortable with a Les Paul style guitar. Should work well with most acoustics and lighter weight electrics, though. Leather (?) ends are not the thickest either. But you get what you pay for, right?

Nice inexspensive strap
It just a nylon strap with a fancy cover sewed to the face. Nothing super special about it. The leather ends while thin leather are of good quality. I have to use a hole cutter to punch the holes larger for Fender Schaller style Strap locks. While the leather is not very thick it puts up a pretty good fight. Good quality leather. The price on Amazon is very fair for the product. Some vendors are 50% higher. A good value at the Amazon price.

Well made. Great design.
This is the first time I've bought an Ernie Ball guitar strap. I wanted a strap for my new bass guitar & chose the Ernie Ball brand, over a lot of others with nice designs, because I hoped the brand name was indicative of a good quality. I was not disappointed. It's a well made strap with the main part of it in a nylon/polypropylene webbing. There are no loose strands of fibre like you can get with such a material & the stitching seems very sound. The ends are leather & fit quite tightly to the strap buttons of the guitar although I imagine they will loosen up as time progresses. The finest feature however is the design on the face of the strap. There are so many attractive designs to choose from in the range it was difficult to decide on which one, but I settled on the Rose Jacquard. The design is embroidered onto a separate, finer, layer of fabric stitched on top of the webbing & is very appealing. The whole strap is quite flexible & I expect it will soften further after some use. There's plenty of adjustment even for fairly short players like myself. The sliding adjustment buckle is in black plastic. The icing on the cake would have been a nice metal buckle, maybe even in brass to further set off the design, but perhaps I'm being too old-school & picky there. In all a well made & good to look at strap which will enhance any guitar.

60's to generation X
The colour and style on this is great. I bought it for my tobacco burst squire but it is on my Epiphone Les Paul as it looks betterThe strap locks are good fitting and would seem to be robust (this will be determined by gigging...but that's a long way away). It is long but I like this so I can pretend to be like those guys from Korn...Will need a pad for my shoulder, but that's because the Les Paul is a heavy guitar...On the basis of looks and usability I'm glad I bought it and would recommend as a long strap will appeal to the generation X types...

beautiful looking strap, but has a plastic buckle
Got this strap when I bought a new guitar and I love it. It looks great, the pattern is nice and bright. The only downside to this strap for me is that it has a plastic buckle where you adjust the strap to the right length etc. I have cheaper straps that have metal buckles but this doesn't follow suit. This is annoying for me as it loses the 'premium feel' that I was looing for. But that's my only complaint, I still love the strap and use it every day.

Beautiful strap.
Great strap and beautiful design. Feels and looks a quality product. Comfortable once fitted and the lock feature seems to be a tight and secure fit.The packaging however was somewhat overkill and scruffy to what I normally have. Whilst the box ( too big for the item ) was intact the contents were loose inside. Expected a sealed fitted packet that could have been posted rather than a box big enough to fit 50 of the straps in.

Too long for electric guitars
If you play your guitar up high then this strap will likely be too long at it's min adjustment.I measure it as having a 99cm (39") min length - this is from centre of strap button to centre of strap button - whereas my previous strap was set to 92cm. I know that a 7cm difference doesn't sound like a lot but it feels very different to play.I'm totally conflicted because I LOVE how this strap looks, but I don't want to be forced to change my play style for a strap!! I think I'm going to have to return.FYI my old strap goes as short as 79.5cm/31.3".Why are straps so long now?
