Moon USA National Parks: The Complete Guide to All 62 Parks (Travel Guide)

Very good book! Bought this for an upcoming RV trip across country! It has loads of information about the parks along with some great colored pictures! I think this will be really helpful to us on our journey!

I've been planning trips to the western Nationa Parks for months, but find the resouces on the NPS to be rather difficult to use. I also used Google Maps, but that is arduous and time consuming.This guide makes it easy to find campgrounds, trails and scenic drives at every National Park that I intend to visit. I also does a great job of highlighting the best times of the year to visit, along with other attractions.

My kiddo asked for this book and he loves it. It was used but the map in the back was still intact.

This is a beautifully done book! All the gorgeous color pictures entice you to want to leave right now for any national park! Has lots of good information…and that’s based on the descriptions of the parks I’ve been to so I know what they are talking about. As always, you are still left wanting a bit more information (hence 4 stars), but really this is a great book and I would recommend it even though there are now 63 designated NPs. Don’t worry about that, just get this one until the count gets higher (like 65+ parks).

We used this on many of the parks. It gives you hints on where to go it you don’t have much time to go through the park.

Just got this today and cannot put it down (except to write this review). Well organized and informative. Just the right mix of photos and narrative to give an overview of each park. Perfect for planning a national park trip. Thank you to Becky Lomax for writing this jewel.

This is an awesome book to both plan for and review your next National Park tour. The whole family will find it useful. Includes what to see, how to get there, when to go, where to stay, etc.Packed with insightful and interesting information.
