If youre in the market for these, you've no doubt come to the conclusion that the handles that come with most Total Gyms are Total Garbage. These replacements are pricey, but theyre super thick, and dont flex under load, as do some I've bought in the past. The unexpected part is the black plastic handles themselves. -They're attached to the metal support with high-grade roller bearings, which makes the workout action very fluid. Whereas the handles that came on my Apex G5 would bind, twist and rub against my arms under load, these are silky smooth, even while supporting a fair amount of weight (Im about 290 pounds, typically add 20 to 40 pounds of extra weight, and perform some exercises with the incline at the highest angle). These dont flex or bend, and the rolling action under heavy load still seems great. These have tremendously improved the quality of my workouts and have allowed me to attempt exercises that I never would have in the past. If youre still on the fence about these, dont be. You really wont regret it!

Purchased these for my total gym.Comfortable grip that swivels on the handle for less stress on the wrist and more realistic lifting experience.. Easy to use. These are the handles that should come with every total gym!! Glad I could find them on Amazon.You could probably find them cheaper but I didn’t want to wait 3-7 days to get them and after taxes and shipping charges these may have been a couple dollars more. I pretty much received these the next day and couldn’t be more happy with them!

I replaced the stock handles on my Total Gym Fit with these handles. They feel a lot sturdier and there is no nylon webbing to get twisted up in your grip. I think having the open side allows you to get a better feel for different exercises as you change the position of your grip.I recently combined these with a set of swivels so the handles can spin freely into position without twisting the cable. They work fantastic together! I can’t claim credit for the idea - I saw it on Sliding Bench Trainer YouTube video and implemented the suggestion.

I purchased these chrome handles to be used on my Weider Ultimate Bodyworks (they are both compatible). I was concerned that these handles would be thin and weak but they are very thick and strong. The handles have improved my exercises in several ways, they feel heavily sturdy during use, they have given my hands stability, my exercises are now more evenly balanced and better executed. I am also free of the annoying squeaking and grinding noises that the original plastic/fabric handles made, the chrome handles have been relatively quiet. These chrome handles are fantastic!

The Bowflex handles don't allow as much pivot as I would like. When doing biceps curls I like to bring my grip to my chest. The Bowflex handles use two straps that prevent the handles from fully rotating.These allow full rotationMy gripe is that the handles are a smaller diameter and the rubber is harder. The Bowflex grips are a more comfortable grip and better if you are sweating.

I use these with the Total Gym XLS. The biggest feature you get with these handles is the offset of the cable from your hand. This allows you to perform certain exercises more comfortably.They have a sturdy and solid construction. The handle is also slightly oversized. This can be very helpful for things like bicep curls as it forces you to squeeze a little harder getting a better pump. I do wish the handles are either normal sized or more oversized. At least for my hands there's still little on the small side and I'm not getting as much value from them being slightly larger.As a caveat, if you're using these handles on a system like a total gym, I highly recommend getting some carabiners and some swivels as the cable can become twisted over time using these handles. This can slowly damage the cable's connector.Given their price and quality I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I really like these, got them for my Total Gym to replace the plastic ones that snapped in half (good luck snapping these). I saw in other reviews that it was said the open-end design leaves you with something to get used to, I didn't find that to be true, it felt fine from the start.
