Radiolink M10N TS100 GPS Compass Module High Positioning Accuracy for FPV Flight Controller DIY RC Drone

Was the only supported GPS I could find for the crossflight. Is fairly priced and the size is very small, but it is barely functional. A lot of times it doesn't pick up any GPS signal at all, and other times it takes several minutes before it can get a location. My cheaper m8n gps module with a pixhawk can pick up a good signal right off the bat and by the time I'm ready to fly it has a 13+ lock. This gps won't pick up a signal most of the time on boot up (it takes a few restarts) and other times it just takes a really long time before I get a location. When it does pick up signal it maintains ~11 sats, but that is IF it gets signal in the first place. Overall, just get a pixhawk and skip the crossflight stuff

I read some reviews, some have DOA issues or DOA after an 'event' ;) Here is a possible solution:The internal shield is NOT soldered in place and there are pads and components around the edge of the shield. If the shield gets moved from impact, it could cause a short.Solution: Pop open the case, make sure the shield is clear of the board and put a little drop of glue at each cornet to prevent the shield from moving.I use form glue or thick CA/ACC for this thisI have two now and they are both rock solid.

Junk, all minipix stuff is junk. This is the slowest GPS, and picks up the least number of satellites. This was part of my second try to build rc with minipix and I will never buy again. There are way better choices out there same costs 10 times better.

So originally, I had this GPS installed on a S500 frame using a HGLRC Zues F722 flight controller and the drone would just randomly fall from the air to the ground as if it lost power... Though I never lost video signal...Then the FC would immediately restart and all would be good until the next time it fell.After the restart, I would have no GPS telemetry in my goggles until I disconnected the battery, and then reconnected.I wasn't happy with the S500 frame, so I bought a new iFlight XL10 V5 frame with all new electronics and motors, installed this GPS on this quad and within a couple of minutes the same thing happened.So I installed a BN-880 GPS module and after at least three hours of flying I haven't had one single drop out.The GPS module itself is nice and the signal quality/accuracy is great, but the one I have just isn't working out for me. Perhaps I just have a bad one.

Contains a U Blox M8N module and receives GPS and Glossnas satellites, up to 3 separate systems 72 channel. Postition accuracy, 2.5 m. Also has a compass. Used in an Arduino robot, pretty good accuracy, like the spec sheet says, about 2.5 meters- although position can change rapidly, in 2 minutes can be off 2 meters on the ground- in the air probably much better with no obstructions.
