Rockin' Rider Charger 2-in-1 Pony Ride-On , Beige

This toy is a massive hit with my one year old. It’s the first and only toy that she gets super excited about whenever she sees it. It’s very easy to move from rock to ride but she doesn’t walk yet so we haven’t done much of the riding. I have a friend with an 18 month old and he was too tall for the riding part so it’s best for younger. Very cute toy - mouth moves with the talking and singing, catchy song, soft fur, works well!

This rockin rider horse is pretty sweet! There is basically zero set up except cutting off some tags. Switching from rocker to rider is super simple and my baby loves it. We got it when he was almost 10 months. He’s slightly taller than average so I was a little worried it would be too short for him but it’s not at all. He can barely touch the floor (or the rockers when they’re on) which is nice because it should work for him for a while. The only downside to it is the speaker which I read on other reviews too. It works, it’s just a little fuzzy. Not so much that I thought it should be docked a star though. Overall, really like it.

My son absolutely loves this. In fact, in the month + that we have had it, this has easily become his favorite toy. My son is 21 months old and average height for his age. He fits on this perfectly but even after he outgrows it, he will still love it- Half the time he prefers to push it around rather than ride it!The recording for the music is definitely grainy, as many other reviewers have noted. I don't mind this and neither does my son but if that will be a deal-breaker for you, it's better that you know now. If you squeeze one ear, the horse sings and the mouth moves. If you squeeze the other ear, a random saying will come out. My son loves pressing the ears and then hurries to kneel down and watch the horse's mouth move. He loves hugging this little guy and when he prefers to rock on it, he will bring me the base so I can put it back on- which takes a whole 2 seconds; you just set it down on top of the rocker base, pull the plastic piece over the front bar and close until it clicks. Voila! To make it a rideable toy again, you simply push the button and the plastic piece pops open to release the horse.I definitely recommend this little horse for 1 year olds and up. At almost 2 years old, my son has a while to go before he won't fit on this anymore. This was definitely a good buy and worth every penny!

Hard to choose a rating. Probably give it a 3.5.Bought this for our then 2 year old, now 3.5 year old. We wanted to get a horse toy and the fact that this was a ride on toy seemed perfect. This toy was loved from the moment it was unwrapped and still is a favorite. The great concept and amount our child loves it is what earns it its stars.Other reviewers are correct that the voice can be creepy, but we didn't mind because of how much our child loved it. However, after just a few months the sound started to go out. We tried new batteries and that wasn't it. Little by little it got worse until it became a garbled mess. So, we took the batteries out. It was disappointing, but it could still be riden and played with and our child was completely attached to it. After about a year, it started to rip in places. We have been attempting to keep it patched up because even 1.5 years later any talk of getting rid of it is met with tears.As much as our child loves it, we really wish it would have held up better. Was this just one poor item or an indication of brand quality? We do not know. We are contemplating getting a new bigger riding horse and are thinking about trying a different brand because we don't want to risk another breaking down before our kid is ready to move on. That being said...we do not regret the purchase and have bought other toys of similar price that got way less use.

*UPDATE*My niece had this for less than a month and one of the ear stopped working. I was able to send the defective pony back for a replacement. Unfortunately, the ear on the replacement stopped working as well.On the plus side, my niece still loves her Rockin Rider pony 8 months later.This was a big hit for my niece's first Christmas. She was captivated by the moving mouth. My niece is not quite 1, but with adult supervision she was able to rock on this and loved it. Amazon had this marked 50% off the list price a week before Christmas, and it was definitely worth that price. I probably would not have purchased it, had it been full price though.

It’s small but it’s great. My 1yr old and 3 yr old loved it so much. My daughter was one when we bought it so we’ve had it a while and my son has gotten to enjoy it. My daughter still tries to ride it even though she’s too big for it

Very cute rocking horse that can also function as a ride-on. I purchased for a one year old and he has enjoyed it. Also was a very good option for him as it is very very small and low to the ground so he can get off and on of it independently. It sings a cute song and has animated motion of the mouth when it sings which he enjoys. The quality is not great, the body, wheels and rocking platform are all made of plastic. This is okay because he will outgrow it before he is 2-3 years old because it is so small. For the price, it has served our purpose. If you are looking for a quality rocking horse to grow with your child, I would not choose this one.

I bought this item for my 1 year old granddaughter’s birthday. She absolutely loves it and rides it all the time. Truly, she is seldom off of it. Very cute, great quality, very pleased.
