Battery for Dyson V8, Morpilot 4000mAh Replacement Dyson V8 Battery Compatible with V8 Animal, V8 Absolute, Vacuum Cleaner with 2 Pre-filters

This is the 2nd time I've replaced the battery on our V8. They appear to last around 3 years. Which isn't really surprising, it's a small battery for the amount of power its kicking out. Last time I went direct to Dyson, as I didn't trust putting a 3rd party battery in the machine, especially as it lives on permanent charge on the wall. However, as this was a 2nd replacement, I just couldn't justify the cost of going direct to Dyson again, so read the reviews and decided to take a chance on this battery. I used the original 3 screws, didn't need the 3 new one's supplied. The addition of 2 free filters is a bonus, I can now wash one and leave it to dry while a new one goes in. Battery made a huge difference in performance. Back to how it works new. You don't realise how weak the battery is getting over time. Well pleased with purchase. Now a few months later and still performing well.

The dyson v8 animal, is a great vacuum cleaner, but after a couple of years the battery started playing up, notably when on high vac setting - would only last 3 mins.Bought this replacement battery as i couldn't believe the cost of the OEM battery - easy to fit & has now given the animal a new lease of life - recommended

This is a replacement battery for a Dyson V8. It comes with the screws as well as 2 spare air filters.The original dyson battery was priced at around £70 for a replacement, so that's was too steep. I bought a no-brand replacement for around £40 a couple of years back for my other one. Now this one has given up, so I found this one for £26 at the time.In terms power it is rated at 4000mAh vs the 2800mAh of the OEM part and as a result, it does seem to last longer than the original, so I can happily run it away on max suction for way longer than I used to be able to (as far as I could remember anyway). Not done anything scientific, but I'd say 30-40% longer wouldn't be unreasonable.I paid £26 for this, and at this price I think it's an absolute bargain. It's substantially cheaper than the original and it lasts longer than the orginal. Win/win as far as I'm concerned!

Pros: Much cheaper than Dyson part. Seems more powerful. Similar runtime to Dyson. Useful and great quality filters included making even more of a bargain.Cons: user manual useless (although a monkey could install this - undo three screws and remove old/clip in new). Indicator lights a little confusing compared to Dyson original. Package opened when I received this and battery not in sealed bag - so a little sceptical how “new” the condition is of the unit I received.My review is based on day 1 useage - so time will tell how it fairs to the Dyson original (which didn’t deteriorate - just completely died after two years of light use). But so far so good.

Excellent product at more than half price of original manufacturers battery. Quality packaging includes instructions and new screws for fitting. I was impressed. New battery fitted so easily, checked out how on YouTube took me 2 minutes. Bought to replace a battery in a V8 that was probably 8 years old, if this lasts half that time I will be pleased. Highly recommend but cannot speak for longevity of batteries in unit ,they are said to be Samsung cells. Only time will tell . Oh and I forgot it comes with 2 new top filters ,bonus, makes for regular swapping and washing of filters.

Easy to install, just three screws to remove old battery and replace with the new one. YouTube video available if unsure. Once fitted gave the battery a full charge which took a while. Powered up the Dyson and what a difference, works like brand new again. Also changed the filters so fantastic suction. Have hoovered the complete downstairs of the house three times and only used one bar of power so no more requirement to charge after every use. Very pleased with this purchase 😀

I bought a Dyson V8 over 5 years ago and in the past year or so i noted that the battery that came with it no longer had the ooomph to finish cleaning the house. Often i would be rushing to vacuuming just to ensure i had sufficient battery left to complete the house.My options were buy a new vacuum (as my current V8 was damaged in another unrelated way) or get a new battery. a Genuine Dyson one was over £75 where as this one was far cheaper.I took the plunge on the cheaper one and repaired the aesthetic damage to the V8 and installed this battery instead. Whilst there is a slight colour difference between the Dyson V8s grey and this battery pack, to be honest it doesnt bother me in the slightest when it has saved me money.The vacuum now lasts longer than ever before.

It’s a non dyson battery.. but easily fitted in two minutes.. fit was fine, hoover is so much better now, a much longer run time now, it is double the amp hours of the original battery.. so no surprise really and the original lasted 30 seconds! .. gets warmer, when running than the original but that’s to be expected being it has double the power. Time will see how it lasts, but it’s been used now for a couple of months.

Our handheld dyson vacuum was so expensive. After a couple years, the battery couldn't hold a charge really. Couldn't run on max flow and couldn't run the motorized attachments. At this time, we only use it to clean up litter from the litter box. So it gets light use, but is easier to just pull out and clean up the mess our cat leaves when he jumps out of the box. We were about to throw the vacuum out but decided to try to swap the battery. So glad we did. Not only is this battery larger than the original (we have gotten almost twice the original vacuuming time), but it also is able to hold a charge and run at max flow and with the motorized attachments. The vacuum is like it was new.Battery was very easy to install. We have had it installed about 3 months now. I saw some reviews about the battery dying after a year. Will update review if the battery dies prematurely, but so far it is working great.

Je l’ai changé, il est environ un an, il fonctionne toujours très bien. Son autonomie est supérieur qu’à la batterie d’origine ! Je conseille.

Fungerar utmärkt och verkar ge den energi som anges. Kan dammsuga länge!Kärvade lite i kontakten i laddockan som andra påpekat, men fungerar bra efter en månad och har nu använt batteriet i månader.

Igual que la original a mitad de precio. De momento sin ningún problema. Fácil instalación.

Ho preso questa batteria in sostituzione dell’originale per il mio Dyson V8 Animal, in quanto dopo meno di due anni la batteria originale aveva perso tantissimo in prestazioni.Ho avuto modo di acquistare questo set di batteria + due ricambi del filtro in occasione del PrimeDay con un offerta vantaggiosa, e appena arrivato non vedevo l’ora di montare il tutto!L’installazione è stata molto più semplice del previsto; anche se siete inesperti è semplicissimo perchè basta svitare 3 viti, sfilare la batteria vecchia e inserire la nuova.Nella confezione sono incluse le istruzioni e le 3 viti di ricambio, oltre che i due filtri e la batteria appunto.Dopo averla sostituita, ho messo subito il carica il Dyson e al primo utilizzo ho percepito addirittura un po’ di potenza in più e una durata forse anche migliore dell’originale da nuovo!Infatti la batteria in questione ha un potere di accumulo maggiore di quella Dyson.La compatibilità è perfetta, non ci sono problemi. Noterete solo una differenza nel materiale, in quanto l’originale è più particolare come plastica, mentre questa è più pacchiana. Difficile da spiegare, ma non si percepisce molto la differenza se guardato nel complesso.Consiglio vivamente l’acquisto per ripristinare il Dyson senza svenarsi ancora una volta!
