Elevate Your Hobby: Vallejo Game Color Advanced Set Delivers Vivid Versatility!
As someone who’s ventured into the world of miniature painting, I can confidently say the Vallejo Game Color Advanced Set is a fantastic step up—especially if you’ve already explored their Introduction Set.🧪 Paint Quality & Performance Each bottle delivers the smooth consistency and high pigment load Vallejo is known for. The paints lay down beautifully whether you're base coating, layering, or edge highlighting. They adhere well to primed surfaces and offer excellent coverage with minimal thinning.🌈 Vibrant, Rich Colors What really makes this set shine is the intensity of its colors. From deep crimson reds to luminous magical blues, the palette feels curated for fantasy figures. The colors pop on the tabletop and respond nicely to both wet blending and dry brushing techniques.🛠️ Beginner-Friendly, Expert-Approved If you’re just getting into the hobby, this set is a perfect progression. It builds on the foundational colors of the Intro Set by introducing more nuanced shades and specialty tones, helping painters experiment and elevate their work without overwhelming them.✅ Perfect Companion to the Introduction Set This advanced set doesn’t replace the basics—it complements them. Together, they give you a full spectrum to tackle everything from goblins and warlocks to sci-fi troopers and dragons.

Nice set to start or build your kit
Good paints, nice droppers, no issues, definitely recommend. For any paint, I recommend a mixer or something (I have a muscle massager that I use), it's great for accurately mixing the paints, before I did this I'd have weird watery ones or inconsistent thicknesses.A few Vallejo kits like this and I have just about any colors that I want at a fraction of the cost of the citadel pots

Excellent for D&D Miniatures and Dioramas/Custom Book Nooks
I'm super happy with the opacity and coverage of these paints, though that's to be expected from Vallejo. A little paint gives a lot of coverage, the colors are bright and bold, and while the price can seem a little steep, I think the quality more than makes up for it. I had my last set for ages, and I'm looking forward to keeping these ones for just as long.

Good starter kit
A good set of paints for getting me back into painting minis. The white paint is a bit thin, but the silver paints is the best I've seen.

Very good paints
I started to get tired of the very cost-efficient paint sets that come with 60+ colors but were frustrating to work with. This was the very first brand I branched out into and found these are really good paints. They are priced very well and are easy to work with. Having started out painting a few years ago, I should have just went with these instead. It comes with a decent range of colors and 3 metallics to use. The paints mix well and cover nicely.

The Best Paints for Modelers & Hobbyists.
The sheer variety of available colors, textures, stains, and effects from Vallejo is amazing. The bottles may only be 0.8 ounces, but the coverage area & color saturation are equivalent to the larger 2-ounce bottles of craft paint. And when using an airbrush, only 8-10 drops + thinner is enough to get a good-sized reservoir of paint. Vallejo Air is already thinned to go straight from the bottle to the airbrush. For hobbyists who are perfectionists, they sell era-specific colors, like Revolutionary War colors, Civil War colors, and WWII American Forces, British Forces, & German Forces colors. They sell color packs for the different Rail Lines for HO hobbyists. It really takes the trial & error of searching for or mixing to get the correct color schemes. The only drawback with Vallejo is, regardless of whether you order it from Amazon, a vendor on eBay, or another online hobby store, one or more of the bottles will leak out in the package. I don't know why the lids aren't screwed on more tightly. With my first shipment, the black leaked out in the package. Amazon was good enough to send me a replacement. When I got the replacement, the black had leaked maybe a few drops, but it wasn't enough for me to send it back a second time. Even with the leak issue, I'm still a diehard fan of Vallejo & use it for all of my projects.

Another great paint set from Vallejo
Another great paint set from Vallejo, this first purchase for me from their Game Color product line did not disappoint. The 'leather' half of the set, made up primarily of browns, tans, reds and 'B&W,' slid onto my minis and bases with the same (or better) creamy smooth and effortless application as the wonderful and more numerous Model Color (MC) paints. There's a nice color selection for leathers and hides included already, but for any custom shade you might decide you need, you'll be happy to find these GC paints mix every bit as easily as do their MC counterparts. I'm not so skilled yet that I actively need to consider blending as a big criterion for which paints I choose to use, but as it turns out, these GC paints do blend easily and thoroughly with the other GC leather colors, and almost certainly all of the other paints in the GC line as well. Two of the leather colors do double duty as flesh tones, one an off-white shade called Elfic Flesh, and the other a rich sort of chocolatey medium brown labeled Dark Fleshtone. Also included in the set are two inks (not washes), Black and Sepia, which are great for what I call 'lining in,' as well as for other detailed shading work on faces, leather, metals, other items and other GC and MC colors. The remaining colors from this Vallejo Leather & Metal Game Color set include a nice selection of 7 paints representing Bright Bronze, Glorious Gold, Polished Gold, Tinny Tin (almost black), Gunmetal, Chainmail Silver, and Silver, listed in order from darkest to lightest. I've not used the metal colors yet as much as the leather colors, but both are of the usual high quality I've come to expect from Vallejo, and I recommend them without reservation.

Vibrant colors for model cars too
These are nice, affordable, quality paints for models. Im airbrushing and normal brushing them on model cars. They have been easy to thin for the airbrush while having good color. Easy to clean with just water or windex.
