Excellent paper-less pour over coffee filter!
I LOVE this pour over coffee filter! In fact, I came to Amazon today to buy another one to keep with my travel supplies — unfortunately, it is not currently available. :( This filters slowly & completely, the fine double stainless steel mesh filters ALL the coffee grounds so I don’t get sludgy coffee. The stainless steel doesn’t leech yucky flavors or toxins into my coffee. The stand is strong & stable. I’m a very happy coffee drinker! Well, except for the fact that I can’t buy a second filter.

It works just as described easy to use.
I admit that I was skeptical when I ordered the product because it seemed to good to be true I thought that I'd end up with a cup filled with coffee grinds, and that it would also effect the taste of the coffee. I'm Happy to say that I was surprised and so happy with the very first cup of coffee I made it was perfect, it is very clean and easy to use it actually works just as described, easy to use makes a great cup of coffee and is a breeze to clean. I have spent far too much money on paper coffee filters, and I wish that I had been more open minded and tried this before because it really does work..

I wish I could give 10 stars
This thing is amazing. I was really skeptical about not needing a paper filter - though it would be like those mesh baskets where you don’t need a paper filter as long as you like sludge in the bottom of the carafe. But no, it’s magical. It makes the best, smoothest, strongest coffee I’ve ever had and there’s no grit at all at the bottom. I love the process of pouring the hot water over - it only takes a couple of minutes and it’s kind of meditative. Which I need right before I drink all that coffee. I use it over a mason jar, 1/2 c medium ground coffee to a quart, drink the first cup hot because it’s irresistible, then put the rest in the fridge for iced coffee. I got rid of my coffee maker after the first cup.

How to Clean This Thing
Bought this for a family member. Family member loved it; great cup of coffee, etc. until it stopped dripping properly (as in many other posts here). My solution: After use, take a half teaspoon of plain table salt (fine grain) and place in bottom of filter. Add very small amount of water until you have a paste or sludge. Then use an old toothbrush to GENTLY use salt to remove the coffee oils within the filter. Brush both outside and inside, particularly down by the tip of the cone. It takes about a minute, and will restore filter for use.The bottom line is that this coffee filter works well because it allows the delicious oils of the coffee to come through without the sediment. However, those oils will clog the fine mesh design of the filter; hence, the need to proactively clean.

Surprisingly easy to use and clean
I am a complete neophyte to pour over coffee. I had it one time at somebody’s house and I have been looking for something to make my morning coffee delicious again. :) I do not use sugar or artificial sweeteners, and the only time I miss sugar is in my coffee. There were no instructions in the box, but this morning I took my chances. Even though I did not know what I was doing, I followed the simple instructions on this listing. They are simple, but they ARE involved, and I will say that I was wondering if I had made a mistake purchasing this item. My coffee was delicious and I now think it is worth the time and trouble. This filter is absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at how small the holes were on the inside, especially, of the filter. I will use this pour over filter system often. I do not have a gooseneck kettle; I just used my regular tea kettle. I do use good quality coffee and filtered water. I had posted a question asking for instructions on how to make a single cup… My question has not even been posted yet but my coffee this morning was good enough that I do not think I need additional instructions. :) Although if anybody has tips, I am listening! Highly recommended.

nice strong coffee
I really like this pour over. Doesnt come with intructions but the product info here on amazon does. Its fairly simple...put in coffee, pour over boiling water. Done. No problems with it taking a long time, it drains right thru. I wash it everytime i use it and have had no issues. Comes with a little brush. I like this for a quick cup of coffee when i dont want to fire up the coffee maker. The brown silicone ring came off as I was taking it out of the package but its really not necessary anyway.

Not Hard to Clean...Messy to Clean
True, the stainless steel coffee dripper seems durable enough, and it's not terribly difficult to clean with enough water available. Cleanup is more a messy multi-step process for those of us with septic systems (no garbage disposal) who tend to have more than one cup in the morning. Disposing of the grounds requires scooping the dripper out with a spoon and washing the remnants down the drain. This makes a grainy staining mess of the sink, which then requires separate cleanup. The suggestion in the product description that it's great for camping, where water use is usually somewhat limited, is preposterous. The stainless steel does reduce bitterness, especially for darker roasts. Overall, it functions well for brewing. If you tend to want two or more cups of coffee in the morning and can't just dump the grounds down the drain, this might not be the answer to your prayers.

More than great!
Okay, who knew something as simple as an over-cup coffee doo-hickey could change my life so much? I looked at several of these things and am I ever GLAD I bought this one. A quality product, and I love the fact that the strainer holes are tiny enough that I don't have to use a paper filter, yet never get silty grinds in the bottom of the cup. The rubber grommet had fallen off in shipment, but putting it back on was no problem. It's incredibly sturdy and works exactly as it should. My life is now back in alignment and my chakras have lined back up again! If you're looking for this type of coffee maker, order this one. I rarely write reviews, but this thing is worth the computer time. Happy coffee making!

Excelente herramienta para aprender a hacer café 'pour over'
Gracias a este filtro aprendí a hacer café tipo 'pour over'.

Great Filter! Water doesn't flow right through
I've been looking for a metal filter so I can be less wasteful with paper filters. But every metal filter I've tried and found would always just allow the water to flow right through and the coffee comes out horribly (if you can even call those coffees). This one doesn't and it works great! It actually acts like a filter and not a strainer. Cleaning is super easy as well and the grains come right off with a sponge. Honestly, made my morning routine more enjoyable :)
