I have grown tired of seeing junk tossed on our roadways and in our rivers and oceans. It's crazy the amount of refuse that is discarded on a daily basis in our dump sites. A lot of restaurants and bars are trying to stop from using straws; however, many of us still like to use straws. Therefore, I found the idea of straws that could be reused appealing.These items are well made and have a nice little pouch so that they can be easily stored in my purse. The pouch includes a brush in order to clean them after use. Hopefully, it will be something that will catch on and rid our planet of unnecessary discards.

I feel there is a great potential to chip your teeth while using these stainless steel straws and knocked my front tooth pretty hard when first using it. Surprisingly they are also much thinner in diameter and longer than a normal straw and I find it difficult to pull your drink up through them and are very uncomfortable to use. I truly wish I hadn't purchased these because it isn't worth spending the money to return them. I am very surprised to see it received 4.5 out of 5 stars.

These are perfect. Low cost, couple straight, couple bent, cleaning brush included, sturdy carrying bag included (I specifically looked for this, because I want to carry one or two in my purse for eating out). I know some people don't like the steel feel (they make washable silicone tips for this), but I don't mind, it just feels a bit heavier.Good deal. I already stopped using plastic straws, but I missed having them at times so I'm glad to have these.

Have read so many articles of water animals ending up with plastic straws in their eyes, intestines, it makes me shudder! I remember the "old days" when paper straws were just fine and did the job BUT when I saw these metal straws that I can carry with me and use at will(plus have their own carry bag), I purchased them. These are sturdy, very durable metal. I like that two are "straight" and two are " bent"- -should satisfy all of our likes and dislikes. Please join me in saving our animals and environment!

Used for drinks and smoothies since receiving this past week. If you use cups that are shorter than about 6 or 7 inches, i feel like they might be a little too long for them and might fall out but I use larger cups so that hasn’t been a problem for me. Cold drinks make them very cold to the touch and again that hasn’t been an issue for me but it might be for some people. I could also see the metal maybe being a hazard to younger kids or just teeth in general. While cleaning them, I have noticed a little bit of a metal smell from the inside but not so much when in use (maybe that will go away after washing and using a few times). The bent straws are slightly harder to clean with the brush at the bend than the straight ones so I see myself using the straight straws more often and only use the bent straws for water or juice, not something more difficult to clean like a smoothie. Overall, good quality for price.

I love these straws! They won't split or break like plastic straws and the included cleaning brush makes clean up a breeze! Replaced the plastic straws that came with these metal tumblers I purchased a couple years ago with these and will be buying more for my toddler granddaughter who seems to break even hard plastic straws.

All 4 came quickly along with the cleaning tool. They are thinner than your standard plastic straw which makes cleaning them a little difficult. And the metal definitely changes the way things taste. I'd recommend getting a glass straw instead, but if you want metal this is as good an option as any, unless you plan to do a lot of smoothies.

Must buy!!! Strong/durable. Sl. narrow straws but do work nicely. Has nice cleaner stick brush included. Slight narrow than standard plastic ones. Wish were few millimeters wider. Happy Overall!
