Picked these up because we just got a new home with lever door handles through out the home.Didn't want the kids able to get out without us knowing.Also didn't want to stick anything to the doors or frames. That sticky stuff peels paint and whatnot eventually.These install easily and do the job very well.Plastic feels thick and not cheap.Installed on the outside of the kids doors, lock them in place and young ones can't open the door.Perfect

Bought a few of these. I love it requires no drilling or adhesive. The bottom part of one does pop out of place on occasion due to my very, very rough kids playing but it goes right back into place. Super easy install and doesn't ruin your doors or handles. Good, universal fit.

This didn't quite work with my handle. My handle had 4 prongs in different locations than where this had nitches for. ALSO, the package was already opened when I bought it, clearly a returned item, which is frustrating. I ended up returning it, but Amazon said to keep the lock. So I jerry-rigged it to fit (cut some more notches with a Dremel) and it seems to work fine now. The latch was extremely hard to lock and unlock too, so I sanded down parts of it to make it slightly easier for adult use.

We used this for about a year every day ( several times a day) before the plastic started cracking. I replaced it with the same brand. They work great for lever door handles. They take noticable effort to squeeze and open, our younger kids are unable to do it. I had to trim some of the door handle ring to get them to fit exact, but it was a 5 minute job to trim it and maybe 5 more to get the finicky screws in and out of the door handle.

Note to buyer!! Measure your door knob tumbler before you purchase. I had a cylinder type door knob tumbler and literally it did not fit. A little Dremeling to make the hole bigger and it worked like a charm. These things are kid proof and literally adult proof. I’m a little worried if someone in my house has to use the bathroom and can’t get the door open in time lol.. All in all what turned out to be a 5 min install turned into a Full blown project. So just be aware before ordering.

Got this in May for $11 CAD. Used it on the door to our basement (which we frequent about once daily). It lasted until November and then it snapped. So…for the price it was ok given that it did work but it only lasted 6 months. And now it’s another piece of plastic destined for the dump.Would I purchase it again? No. We just bit the bullet & bought a proper keyed lock & lever for the door instead for $60.Would I recommend it? Probably not. The new lock, while expensive, will be used for a few years and then resold or reused elsewhere. This thing, while inexpensive, is now useless after just 6 months.Does it work? Yes. Just don’t expect it to last long.
