GEWB2X8228 Genuine OEM Element Receptacle and Wire Kit for GE Electric Ranges

This was super easy to replace and the wires were long enough to plug in from the front burner.

This was my first element receptacle replacement, and getting this kit made it super easy. I had help threading the wires from the front to the back because it can be a bit tricky to get it through the holes, but after that it's plug-and-play. Make sure you unplug your stove before you work on this. The only thing you need is a drill to remove and re-add all the screws. There are lots of videos on youtube explaining the process. The guys at the appliance repair shops said this part was "hard to find." Well, apparently Amazon has it. It was easy to install and works great!

Good product that allowed me to refurbish my electric cooktop. Only drawback was that the wires weren't as long as I needed; they were about a foot short of reaching the controls. So I spliced into the existing wiring (still in acceptable condition) and used some high-temperature wire connectors, and all is well.

Perfect fit for GE range, easy to install.

Perfect fit. Wires were just long enough to connect to control board. Much nicer than the cheaper option that requires splicing the wires. But,...the plastic part of the connector melted. In fact, it melted bad enough that the electrical connector inside made contact with the metal clip shorting the entire stove and causing the house electrical panel breaker to tip. Stove couldn't be used until the connector was completely removed, which eliminated the short. Burner element contacts were clean at install, and there is not food or grease contamination in the melted connector, so not sure what caused this. I'll get a new connector and burner, and try again.

Perchance several over the years and worked very well and were easy to install.
