Absolutely gutted at the quality of this mat, the creases are so deep and the material seems like it will rip after a few more folds. It also smells strongly of vomit, and the print is a lot paler than in the stock images. Shame!

Initially it was brilliant when opened it was safe enough for my 9 month old to crawl and play safe, many reviewers mentioned creases which didn’t bother me however I noticed there was small damage and now after a week of use by a baby there is a significant damage! Just from crawling and playing with her toys I wouldn’t recommend this at all I don’t usually leave reviews yet purchase almost everything from amazon!

The play mat comes well packaged but is folded. It’s been laid on the floor for 3 days and it still bulges all over.The design and quality is lovely but the fact that it won’t lay flat is definitely a problem. I am hoping it will flatten as nobody else has mentioned this issue. I may return it.May be worth getting a different mat that arrives rolled!

I bought this for a friend as she needed something for her baby to crawl on. When it arrived she was immediately dissapointed at the inferior quality for the price I had paid. She told me that it is just a thin p[lastic mat and she doesn't expect it to last long. She even added that she would be better off putting towels on the floor as they are much thicker and safer for the baby. So, I have written this review based on the information I received, including the photo she sent me. I wouldn't recommend this product and sadly I haven't seen anything better on Amazon. When babies are crawling and learning to stand up / walk, they fall down and these cheap, tacky, Chinese products are not designed to take away the impact shock when a baby falls. They should be banned and importers forced to sell only baby mats that are a minimum of 7cm thick so falling babies are not injured from the impact.

So happy with this. A cheaper version of the expensive ones out there and does the same job. Easy to clean, easy to fold up away.

Love this playmat! Beautiful, subtle colouring but still appealing to little people. The padding is sufficient to cushion falls and the surface is wipe clean with enough ‘grip’ to allow toddler dancing to be non slip.I use this with a newborn and a 2.5year old and it suits bothVery large so fills a good proportion of our playroom

This provides a good trade-off of padding in case of falling over, while being firm enough that it doesn't ruck up when crawling etc. Only reason its not 5 stars is that if you use it outside, it acts as a bit of a sun reflector so it too bright to be on.

Do not waste your money! You would think for the price of this you would be getting a quality well made product! Sadly you will be disappointed with this item. It comes folded in a bag so there are heavy creases when you try to lay it flat. Also the stitching round the edges is the worst wide running stitch I have ever seen and will soon either be pulled or will fall apart! I really don’t want this item and want to return however being high risk and isolating I’m certainly not going out of my way to drop it off at a parcel drop point and risking my health! Poor quality! Poor service! Will end up in the bin!
