Had a 1mm drill bit which is of course too small for standard drills even my battery powered... This small low cost "gadget" worked a treat and enabled us to complete our project. Happy wife happy life.

I originally gave this product 2 stars based on the fact that only one chuck was sent to me . I am happy to set the record straight that the goods sent were in error and in fact TWO chucks are included in the offer . The seller subsequintly contacted me and after verification and has sent the correct order to me. I am pleased to give 4 stars based on my use of the silver chuck which was used for 1.1mm pcb drilling .

Great product and price

Two chucks, slightly different designs but essentially the same. Once tightened they are not terribly easy to undo, but of force needed. That would be fine, but of the two devices only one is remotely 'true'. The other if far off centre and wobbles around when turned. So if you aim to do anything requiring precision, forget it.

Excellent tools, having two is a great bonus. I use one with a pilot drill and one with a screw bit together with my cordless screwdriver. Interchangeable in an instant.

I was looking for a chuck to hold small diameter drills. I have a small Archimedian hand-operated drill but it is not that great for metals. These two chucks are pretty good so long as you use them in a drill with a larger chuck already. If you put them in an electric screwdriver with a simple hex connection they flap about all over the place as others have noted but in a proper 3-jaw drill chuck the runout is pretty minimal (ie you can't see it with your eye).It helps to ensure the drill shank is inserted as far as possible into the chuck. Only suitable for drilling things as the chuck mechanism unscrews if you try to use it anti-clockwise.

The chucks do not run true but to be honest I did not expect them to. I bought the chucks to countersink holes in wood using a very old and redundant electric powered screwdriver. The chucks are quite adequate for this and the cost was very low.

Very happy with these chucks. They grip all my bits from 1 mm to 6 mm tightly and centrally preventing spin and achieving accuracy . They seem to be well made and should last a decent length of time.
