Great tool for my students!!!!!

I bought this for my high schooler who has had a few years of high school Spanish.The cards are quality - sturdy, brightly colored and easy to read.One side has just the Spanish word, the other side has the Spanish word next to a picture depicting the meaning.This means there's a "hard side" and an "easy side". If you are just wanting to learn the words and their meaning then look at the side with the picture and the word.If you are wanting to test your vocab, then look at the side with just the word and then flip to the picture side to see if you got it right.But there's a "bonus" way to use these cards for those who want extra challenge. Look at the pictures only and cover the word. From there, see if you can describe the picture in Spanish, then uncover the answer.This is probably the way my son will get the most use out of it. It's fairly easy the other ways for him because he's a good guesser given the word, but just looking at the picture alone makes it a challenge for him!Great set of cards at a great price!

For the price I expected the English word to be on the back of the card. I bought another pack of these for only $2.99 and they had the English answers on the card. I do like the card stock on these and the nice sturdy box. I like the pictures with the word that helps me learn and remember the Spanish words. I had to put the English words on the box of the cards myself using the answer key. Now that I put the English answer on the bottom corner of the back of the card I love them! These are great if you already took Spanish and just want to refresh but not for the beginner in my opinion unless you are willing to take the time as I did to put the English answers on the back of the card.

So helpful for my little one. We were able to enjoy the pictures and even make short phrases

The picture and Spanish word help my son to learn. He can sound out Spanish words, but doesn’t always know what he is reading. The pictures with the words are helping him to learn more.

These cards are beautifully done but they need the English translation on the back. If the card has a picture of a television or a book, then it is pretty obvious that the word in spanish means television or book in english, but if the word is: el granjero and there is a picture of a man in a red trucker cap...one is really not sure unless you look the word up what it means. I'm thinking he is a trucker or a gardener. I just googled it and I was wrong on both counts. He is a farmer.

These are good quality but they don’t have English translations.
