Purchased this as a portable, cordless work lamp for when I'm working with stuff on the dining room table. It is more than bright enough, and is light enough to move around easily. You have to be a bit careful of how you adjust the goose neck (which is completely flexible), if you have it configured as an inverted "L" the lamp will tip over if the LED portion is knocked. I found that making a slight "S" kink in it so that the LED part is pushed more forward over the base, makes it more stable.The lamp only takes a few hours to fully charge via USB or you can replace the battery with a recharged 18650 as it is accessable under the cover. These are very high current batteries though, you will need a special charger for them if you don't use the lamp to do it and the batteries must not be shorted out as they will cause a fire or explosion. For that reason, as there is no screw protecting access to the battery compartment, this would not be suitable as a child's lamp.The plastic case on the base is a bit cheap, although the base does have small rubber feet on it. Other than than, I'm considering getting one as a bedside light in case of power cuts.Very pleased with my purchase.

We use it on daily basis , my children and I are taking this lamp wherever we need it the evenings and nights. I also use it for video making and making item pictures .It has different brightness which is perfect, it has 3 light shades , non of them hurts eyes and are very comfortable in the night . It’s very flexible, you can easily move it in the direction you want , I recharge it ones in a couple of days, when it’s not charged well the lights are not so bright.It has one big minus that’s why I can’t give it a 5 star, the head of the lamp it’s coming out from it’s base and you can see the wires inside, we fixed it twice with tape but it didn’t help, third time we used a hard paper and tape it well, after this we are happily using it.

Overall I am pleased with this lamp - it's very handy to be able to move it around easily and it's nice and bright. 3 different colour temperatures, adjustable neck, adjustable intensity - just what I wanted. However I am a bit concerned that they offer only a 3-month warranty, and this comment on the box is somewhat alarming: "Due to quality problems, the warranty period is three months from the date of purchase." It's like they are saying "We know this is poor quality, so don't expect it to last very long." Check back with me in 3 months ...

Bought for jigsaw puzzle completion in poor light conditions. Also useful for the Power saving periods organised by Octopus energy to be able to read, cook(gas) and do other tasks. Lightweight and bright. Re-charges quickly.

It is a very bright light, I'll give it that. The good point is it is lightweight. The bad point? It is lightweight!! It topples over if you try to extend the arm beyond a certain point. It is easy to move around due to the battery operation and from a charging point of view, I had it on for a few hours after the first charge. It does, however, seem to need a long charge so I do it overnight. I would describe it as a basic lamp with limited uses but if you read the reviews, you know what to expect. One of the things I really detest nowadays is the need for everything to be charged by usb. Sorry, it's a pet hate of mine .

This is an excellent little lamp. I was looking for something small that I could put anywhere on a table, without being inconvenienced by power cables. This stand-alone lamp is the answer. The brightness is satisfactory and the switchable colour temperatures is useful. There is also a facility to gradually dim the light on any of the colour settings. The arm is very bendable to enable it to be used in many configurations. It comes with a short cable to connect it to any standard USB A outlet in order to charge the battery. I am very pleased with this modestly priced lamp.

If it runs out of battery, light fades away, you should know. It works well.
