Purchased this a month ago when the ammonia started spiking in our little Koi pond. It has been an ongoing battle since we expanded the size of our pond, and as it cycles. It has not helped that the fry, which were just little guys last summer, are going through a growth spurt (I'm in the process of rehoming them--their parents, my two Koi, surprised us with these little bundles of joy last summer. I found homes for 20 of them last summer, and kept 5. They all survived the winter).I bought this in hope that it would do what it purports to do, which is to eliminate dangerous ammonia. I test every two days with my API test kit, and the ammonia is still showing up in high levels, one month later. Thankfully, I keep Ammo-Lock on hand, and have been diligent about partial water changes, and I think THAT product is what has saved my fish until the pond finishes cycling completely.Disappointed, but carrying on until everything levels out.
