Was a little skeptical prior to buying
Every July my house becomes the hang out for all my kids and grandkids when we all come together. I asked my 14 year old granddaughters from FL what type of floats they wanted for this year. They just wanted the normal flat floats you lay on but that seemed way to boring so I saw this and it looked like so much fun. I have 7 grandkids ages 2-14 and they all had a blast on this. We moved it all over a paved deck surface and I wondered if it would be thick enough to endure the scraping as it was being dragged but it's the end of the summer and it has lasted and we'll have it for nest year. For the adults - we probably needed to blow it up more because everyone said they hit their backs on the edge of the pool (we had it placed so that about a foot was over the edge of the pool) as they slid down. So glad I got it - good decision Bobshkie (grandma) !!

Leaks air, but from where?!!
We have an inground pool, two girls, a lot of nieces and a nephew who are like our own plus lots of friends who come over to swim. We’ve had wonderful luck keeping a “little tykes” slide by the pool for years (of course they hold up forever- why don’t they make pool slides?!) This year I ordered this particular slide because I wanted something my 5’11 13yo could also enjoy since outgrowing her kids slide a couple years ago. The pickings are slim when you need a slide with a weight limit of more than 100lbs but don’t want to pour fresh concrete for a permanent slide (and even if you do pour fresh concrete some of the limits were like 150lbs.. gimme a break 🙄)! Anywho, I read loads of reviews and knew the ratings were subpar going into it but it seemed like the biggest issue people had were the footholds being ripped out. So after threatening all of our swimmers within inches of their lives (joking!- but I was super specific about the footholds and having a zero tolerance for roughhousing on this thing) my hubby took the box outside to air it up. Five pumps later (manual pumps, battery, electric pumps we use on all our big floats, nothing worked) he dragged our generator back there and managed to start filling it up. It took ages but we did get it filled up before everyone came over to swim that day! But then- literally before anyone had used it- it started shrinking again. 😐 I checked all the plugs and everything, had my hubby recheck everything, no clue where the air was coming out but he filled it back up and we carried on. He had to add air to it four more times while everyone was swimming. I kept checking everything but couldn’t find an issue. Spent the next day looking for a leak (this thing isn’t easy to just flip over and check around on either!) with no luck, had the kids come out and sit on different areas so I could listen for air under otherwise quiet conditions. Nope, nothing. It’s just a ghost leak somewhere, apparently. Now it basically just sits there being an eyesore in the backyard. It’s hardly worth adding air every morning for the kids to swim a few hours. We put air in before people come over on the weekends but partly just because it’s an eyesore if we don’t. And my super sweet 13yo girl (the whole reason I got it in the first place) just won’t use it at all because she’s afraid it’ll just crap out under her. Ughhh so frustrating 😑 The pic attached isn’t overly helpful but it’s the only one I have right this moment and does sum it up pretty well- it’s our trusty tykes slide behind a kiddo and this crappy leaky eyesore off to the side 👍🏼

Fantastic product! Big Hit with all ages.
The Smile and Slide has provided so much fun this Summer for my grandkids and adult children. It is easy to inflate and very sturdy! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a pool. In addition we did get the 6 X 6 Wow Water Walkway that easily zips on to the slide. When put in the pool the kids can climb on the walkway and climb up the slide. There are no negatives to this product.

Tons of fun for my kids at the lake
This is the second slide as the first one couldn't be fixed with a patch. Even if it only works for a year, it's totally worth it. The kids love playing on the slide on the beach and going into the water. They sometimes jump/bounce down it making it even more fun. I would recommend getting something to anchor it though in the water.

Only used a handful of times
Only used for one season, went to blow up this season and it has leaks everywhere. Way too expensive for the minimal usage.

Summer Fun
We only use for two weeks a year on the lake but after a couple days we would find it deflated in the morning and every morning after re-inflating it. Looked all over for a air leak to patch but found none. Fortunately the fine folks at Amazon sent another slide to us and have had no issues with it.

Quick to inflate, quick to deflate, lots of fun.
We've had the slide for a month now and inflated it several times (6+) when the four grandkids come over. I can inflate the main part in about five minutes using my small shop-vac and another 3-5 minutes for the little "railings" using a little rechargeable pool-toy inflator. Deflation using the same devices allows me to store it away in a tote in 5-10 minutes. Kids have a lot of fun. Some tips - I place it so that it overhangs the edge of the pool by about 12-18 inches. If you don't have it sticking out into the pool and a heavy kid (or crazy 200 lb dad like me) goes down the slide then you can "bottom out" (literally) on the pool deck. I also put down a plastic tarp on the deck and over the sharpish edge of the pool deck (we have travertine) to reduce a bit of wear and tear on the slide material.

If you are an adult, do not use the foot holes on the slide ours ripped.😭😡
We brought this product last year. It did not last very long. We only used it a couple of times before one of the foot holds ripped. We were very disappointed! It did not hold the weight that it said that it would. They Need to reinforce those. That was a lot of money to only get a two time use out of this product. The kids had fun the few times we used before tore. I feel like the company should send us a new one. Maybe we got a bad one. I would say if you are an adult do not use the foot holes to get on the slide!
