Used this a few times now and I really like it. Handle is great, feature of changing heads is pretty nice, and it seems durable. Only complaint is I wish it had an actual closing case

If you are working on 2a stuff definitely better then any hardware store stuff , has great weight to it and feels like a great tool

The hammer is great for my needs, it's comfortable to hold, and seems like it's well made. Tips appear good too. SO generally, good product.The box is what I have problems with. If you intent to just keep it in a drawer, that is fine. But if you intend to throw it in a toolbox or move it around, keep in mind that it doesn't have a cover. It's not really a case, it's a tray. Parts may fall out (especially the forceps which are loose in my case) or may get snagged on things.So great tool if you plan to have it in a a workbench drawer. But if you need to be going places with this kit, you will either need to find some other case for it, or you can keep the cardboard box it came in, for however long that lasts.

I've finally found the hammer set I've been looking for. Has all combinations of tips for the hammer for most small jobs. I use mine for adjusting my front and rear sight windage on my lever actions. Recommend a brass drift punch for doing this.

Mini Thor's hammer...the head is weighty creating an odd balance...to counter balance the weight it needs a longer handle. 4 heads brass, steel, nylon and rubber and a pin holder. All in all, it is better than the hammer I've been using. I currently have a project in the works and will report back after I've used it.

I really liked this Real Avid hammer, but was not reading great things about their punches. I loved having the ability to purchase this separately, and then buy different punches.So far, I have loved this hammer and it has been useful for a ton of gunsmith projects. I would definitely recommend to others. 5 stars for the hammerUPDATE 5/4/2020I have been using this hammer for the last 10 months or so...And while it certainly doesn’t see daily use, it’s gotten a fair share of use across different builds and projects. While all of the different head’s show wear, all are still usable and the hammer is holding up well. I have this hanging from the peg board above my “gun” table. And as a result, it’s my go to hammer for any gunsmith project.I have no complaints about this item. For a weekend / hobbyist gunsmith this hammer is perfect. Some reviews mention the sort handle but the balance is perfect and you don't want a lot of force anyway so it really is no problem. The interchangeable heads will take care of any gunsmithing job you may have plus the price is excellent for the quality of the hammer.
