6/8 GPU Aluminum Stackable Open Air Mining Computer Frame Rig Ethereum Veddha (V3D-8GPU+7FANS)

Let me start by saying that I kept this frame even after the issues I'm about to detail. It was more important to me that my hardware was protected and running than getting a different frame, especially since the lead time is 2wks+.The instructions are IKEA-style, so diagrams only. I like this style sometimes, but these instructions missed many perspective lines that made it difficult to understand the orientation of some parts. Fortunately, there's only so many ways it can go together. Also, it came with some standoffs, finger-bolts, and 2 other standard bolts, but didn't mention which bolts go where and I only ended up using the black bolts - It hasn't fallen apart so I think I'm in the clear.Structurally, it 's holding up fine (if a metal box-frame cant hold a couple computer parts, I don't know what to tell you). My issue here is the quality isn't up to par. there were chips/scratches in the coating, the bolt holes weren't tapped well, and several pieces didn't line up well - the bolt holes on the bracket directly under your GPU was about 0.25 inches off , so I had to bend the frame to get them to line up.Compatibility-wise, it held my motherboard and PSU. It did not hold the fans, GPU, or SSD. The BeQuiet! fans I purchased don't work with the yellow plastic fan mounts. I ended up buying aluminum angle and making brackets for them. The bracket under the GPU sits directly under my GeForce RTX 3070's interface, so I couldn't connect without relocating that bracket, i.e. drilling new holes and adding more aluminum angle. Lastly, there's no provided location to mount the SSD. Once I do some cable management, I'll find a good location to put it and drill more holes.I'm hoping some of these issues were errors on my end, but unless you really like the aesthetic appeal of this one and don't mind modifying it, I would recommend a different frame.

Item was used, NOT NEW. Everything came unwrapped/unprotected. Circular vibration scratches, deep cut into the metal. The GPU brace was bent from use. Instructions clearly say not to unwrap before reading (The only clear thing the instruction say, the rest are pictures with no magnifying glass provided). Only one bar came wrapped. Bags of screws were covered in a sticky dark mess, I used gloves to open. Considering these are overpriced as well, selling them as new is misleading to put it nicely.I needed the item and I might have purchased it used but not at full price. I'm asking for a refund solution.

Bought a couple of these frames to build a new rig and replace an old rigs frame. Quality of material is decent, thinner than other frames I've had but for me that's not a bad thing as the frame itself won't act like a heat sink like some of the other extrusion type frames do.I don't agree with others complaints about the assembly. This frame is simpler and easier than most. If you are savvy enough to put a rig together, you ought to be able to figure out a frame.My complaints are that the component spacing with the compact version of these frames. The left side PSU blocks the molex power port on an ASRock H81 BTC motherboard... So presuming you have a different board or single PSU, you'll probably be ok. I had to mount my second PSU slightly back with custom hardware (picture taken before re-mounting).There's no obvious place to mount an SSD, though I have an idea how it can work with the floor frame. I also use CPU AIO coolers and there is little to no space for the radiator and fan (though admittedly I'm probably in the minority of folks who do that). Cable management is very tight.Also, the last GPU position is a bit tighter so larger you may have to get a little creative with your card spacingIf manufacturer would add an extra half inch to the width... spaced proportionally, this would be almost perfect.Will update once I've run with it for a while.

This is a good rack. Easy to put together. Screw holes exist for the motherboard, power supplies and cards. This comes with screws. If you get the version without fans it still includes the pieces to make the fan row with your fans. There is a power switch that not all racks have. For oversized cards it’s a bit tight. Gigabyte visions which are long and thick barley squeeze in. The back of the cards are against the fans and only a bit of space in between. Combine that with Gigabytes cooling issues and it’s not ideal. But overall, I like the rack and would buy again.I would suggest adding holes to add another row of fans in the front as cooling is a major issue on any rack.

The frame was cracked in 2 places and had to bend them to fit.The directions for assembly are extremely vague. Not as descriptive as ikea instructions. I would not recommend this to anyone who is using this as their first rig.Also a ASRock H110 pro BTC+ motherboard does not fit this frame. Not sure what other motherboards won’t fit I just know this one will not.I made it work but I will not be ordering the same frame for my next rig. Mainly because it came cracked, my motherboard would not fit properly and my GPU risers did not fit right. The GPU risers are not a flaw of the rig but my preferred risers are not the right size for the premade holes they make.The value is just not there for the money in my opinion.

It's not the easiest thing to build as others have stated...also not the cheapest, but once I figured it all out it seems to be a pretty quality mining rack. Mine came missing the 4 corner brackets to hold the 8 fans to the frame, which I can still make work however a little disappointing for something that costs this much. Overall I'm pretty happy and will probably buy another eventually when I need more space.
